Hello and welcome to episode number 11 of the Jersey Football Podcast. I'm your host Andy. She, and as always, I'm joined by Robbie Whitaker. Robbie, how you doing? Yeah, I'm all good. Frank, Andy busy week at work. Yeah, just flat out with everything and trying to move into winter training, so that was a bit difficult, should we say. But yeah. All good. How's your week been very similar, mate. It's been absolutely flat out and manic. Hence why we're sitting here on a Friday evening trying to record this podcast, which is already 48 hours late. So apologies to everybody if you've been waiting for it. I have had a couple of messages from people asking where it is. Unfortunately, real life has got in the way and made it a little bit difficult to get it recorded, but we are doing it. I will say a little bit different. I know it probably doesn't sound like it at times, but there is a bit of planning goes into this. We normally have a bit of a framework and a, a pattern that we're gonna follow. Tonight we are flying by the seat of our pants. We haven't prepared anything. We're just gonna run through the games from the last week. We'll have a look ahead to the following week, and then we're just gonna see where this takes us. And it could be entertaining, might not be, might be controversial, might even get fined. Who knows, shall we say now as a caveat that we've both had 10 pounds or not? Yeah. Yeah. And if anybody from the Jfe is listening, this episode's not for you. Yeah. Yeah please tune in next week. Yeah. Yeah. I think to start on a positive though, Robbie we've spoken over a number of weeks about asking people for feedback and comments and stuff. And we've act, we've got some commentary, we've got feedback, we've got fan mail, we've got messages. It's been great. Some of actually come in a little while ago. It's taken a little bit of time to filter through the system, but we've had some really nice messages, really bit nice bits of feedback. Excellent. The first one came a few weeks ago, actually. I dunno if you remember, Robbie, you had a rant about the sitting bond town manager Oh, yeah. Sitting in the airport. Please tell me he's got in touch. Unfortunately not. It was, somebody was saying they enjoyed that podcast, particularly Robbie's piece about the sitting bond gaffer. They were in complete agreement. I did wonder if that was gonna be the start of a new segment called Robbie's Rant, but it hasn't really, hasn't taken off yet. Oh, no, we can start one of them segments if you want. I'll always find something to rant about. Yeah, quite. I'm sure. I'm sure you could. Another message we got was off the back of the episode, we did with Libby. Now one of the problems actually with this fan mail it's worth highlighting is, first of all, it doesn't give an op doesn't give us an op an option of replying, which is a shame'cause it would be nice to go back. And it also doesn't give us a name. So unfortunately it just gives us a number. This is Sunday, 5 0 9 5. I assume it's the last four digits of their phone number. And it just said, hi, Andy, listen to the podcast and thoroughly enjoyed it. I just wanted to mention that I was one of, I was a player for St. Paul's and I was one of those players at that training session. Excellent. Now that was the one, if you remember where. They all the innuendos and everything. Oh yeah. The A me is a 36-year-old man who'd played football and been in dressed room his all their life and just stood there blushing a little girl. As they succeeded very well and making me feel a little bit all uncomfortable. It was all in good grace. It was all very funny. I think if there's any good comments like that one, going forward we should maybe like offer to get them on if they get in touch with us and tell'em who they were, just so we can put a name to the comment now. I think that'd be quite cool. I think he's a fr who follows the bills in the uk. Says enjoyed all the podcasts for so far. Says we need to get Luke Watson on. We're trying Nigel. We have to be conscious that for some people they might not feel comfortable or might not want to do it. We have to a accept that. And also as we are seeing this week's schedule's getting in the way, yeah, it makes it really difficult. So we are tr we would love to get Luke on, but we certainly wouldn't want him to get on and feel like he, he's sort obliged to feel uncomfortable while he is doing it. Ann also would want to do it, but he's got time for it as well and we're getting a busy time of the year. Yeah, that's definitely like the time being made for it. That's a big thing. But yeah, we'll be nice. We're not gonna pressure Luke Watson into coming on, because it's not as if he's a Jersey superstar or anything like that. We've, we understand his feelings and, he might be a bit embarrassed, but just get yourself on Luke and stop all his carry on. All right. He's gonna kill you. Another one from Brad another, actually another UK Bills fan. Just wanted, I'll read this here'cause it's just so it is word for word. It's not me singing our praises. He said, just wanted to say listen to the podcast has been brilliant. We've made it a regular listen on route to Jersey bills, our other non-league matches here in the uk. Great to hear the roundup roundups of the games back home. Keep up the good work. Look looking forward to the Luke Watson edition. Now I swear that's not planted. But that's a fantastic message from Brad. And it's quite humbling to hear that people are, yeah. Looking forward to it every week. That, that's great to hear from them. Excellent. We're getting a right little fan base of about six people. Yeah. We're gonna get back headed now, aren't we? Yeah. So I think if we look back, what are the advantages actually of doing the podcast late on in the week is when we are looking back at games, we can actually get the midweek games in as well. Yeah. Because it was a busy weekend last week, last weekend. And also with midweek games as well. So that's an unintended benefit. I don't think recording this later on in the week, we certainly won't make it a habit. I think the recording midweek helps with availability of guests and makes it easier for us as well. So going forward, hopefully that we'll get back to the usual slot. But we look back to last weekend we had a full card of premiership fixtures. Including what was somebody told me on Saturday last weekend, they'd coined the podcast Derby, which was St. Climates versus St. Paul's. We'll cover that game last. Yeah. And I know Chris Duncan had put a comment on Facebook. We are talking to each other now. That might be the real reason why we've waited so late in the week. It was a very eventful game, but actually none of the events or action took place in the technical areas. Everyone was on their best behavior and there was no issues there at all. Yeah. But we'll cover that later on. But the first game, like to look at Robbie and I think a really important game down at the bottom of the table. Although we're still early, early on in the season Ville beat Madeira five now. Yeah. That's a great result for Ville. I didn't see that coming at all. Yeah. I think it was, there was always the potential that they would get the points, but for such a resounding victory that was probably what surprised more than anything. I think the groove lad would've taken a bit of pleasure in that particularly since they, they lost a striker going back to Madeira. There's always that little bit of needle that's caused by things like that. Players come and go, players move. It happens, but it does sometimes cause a little bit. But I think when you look at it, if you look at the table, Madeira and grovel, they're, I think they're three points behind St. Peter's and St one. And that was Groove's first win of the season. So I think the really important for Grl to get those points, but they're only three points back. I'm sure they'll be, they'll have games very soon against it, one against it, Peter. And that's gonna get really tight, I think down at the bottom. I dunno, you used the, played my data, haven't you? What did you think when you played them? They started off good. But again, we stuck in it. We got the goals at the right time, and looking at the groove I game, they got two early goals. I think it was Harrison Moon after four minutes, I think, and then Blake Drb after eight. So that sort of makes it a non contest then, doesn't it? It makes a huge difference, doesn't it? Yeah. Mean I must admit, we played Ville about a month ago now, and we beat them one now, and my overriding thought was, how the hell are they at the bottom of the table? The way they played against us the kind of the aggression the commitment the ability that they played with it was a real tough battle. And when you when I'd say that I thought it's only a battery time before they pa start picking up points. So interesting. Keeps it a little bit alive. I think a win from Madeira would've taken them out. The left groove pretty much cut loose at the bottom there. So important there, but. A lot of football to be played down there and who knows what way it's gonna go. Yeah. Like we've touched on every week the three rounds of fixtures this season, it's gonna be massive for them two game them two teams down there as it is, all throughout the league.'Cause you can have one setback and then still know that there's a possible six points to gain on that opponent, later on in the season. So it'll be interesting down the bottom. That's right. That's right. The second game we look at, it's umbrellas beat one, one nil again. That's a great result for bres. Yeah. So one have been, I think on their day be very good. But I think availability of players, and we spoke about this at the start of the season that you look at the lineup. I think they were missing a couple. And it makes a big difference. But Paul McKay with a goal for some simple ad what an asset he'll be. Just the tell experience ability. Physicality, knowledge of the games played at a high level. A great sign in for them. If they can get him out every week, then he'll be a right good asset for them. Yeah, definitely. I mean from, he was with the Bulls, wasn't he? For a bit. Yeah, he played with him la he played with him last season. Yeah. Work commitments. I think it's work commitments and there's, I don't know the full story, so I don't wanna say too much about it, but I know he was looking at getting into the football agency side of things or certainly from what I heard. And that's second, third time. So might be complete nonsense, what it's like in Jersey, but though it did mean there'd be restrictions on what level it could play at. Yeah, we certainly, the story that we'd had, and if that's wrong, I apologize for that. Happy to correct that if somebody wants us to do that going forward. But regardless of the reason a great asset for simple ad.'cause I, I think, and I, again, I dunno what you think Robbie, I think one of the things that a lot of teams miss is experience. Yeah. And he's that in abundance. You can certainly speak to that. I know we'd love someone who was just over 25 that would do, yeah. But that, it'll be a good sign in for them. And like you say, hopefully he can get out every week. I'd appreciate if he wasn't out tomorrow. Little spoiler for us. But yeah. Now hopefully he gets back playing.'cause you don't wanna see anyone sitting on the sidelines because of either red tape or work commitments. You'd rather see them all playing. So Yeah. Hopefully he can. Yeah. He is played professionally in Scotland. He's gonna be a right asset at our level. He's gonna be a right. Good player. So the other fixer before we got onto our Robbie was a disappointing one for both of us, I think. Was St. Peter Ne Jersey Wonders Six. I think we, we expected Wonders would probably have a bit too much for St. Peters. And that proved to be the case. I think. Wanderers look good, don't they? I think that's the thing. They look very efficient. They look real strength and depth that they're gonna take some beating this season. Yeah. Whoever faces them, whether it's us, you, anyone going like further down the league, you, you're gonna need to be on top of your game and get the rub of the green as well.'Cause they're looking really strong up. I had to laugh, because last week's podcast, and we were saying about all the pressures on Chris and Wanderers and stuff, and, having a little pop there he just messaged me and put like a, was it a pressure? And then equals and then just a diamond, I thought. Fair you Chris. Yeah. But no, they, they are, they're looking very good, like you say, strength and depth, organized good system where they wanna play, so yeah, they're gonna take some beating. Yeah. And I think that the big one is we talk about every team, if they're missing a few, that they'll they'll find it hard. They're bench. They had Alex Jaran, Jack Hard, the state Darl, and Val and Noah Rasberry on the bench to honest, those four were probably playing most teams in the league every week. Start every week. Yeah. And they've got that bit of experience as well. And it's not like they're top players with no experience. It's, they've been around a bit, so Yeah. They look good, to be honest. Yeah. They started by a couple of young lads as well. So the, yeah. Unfortunately for us there's two teams with title aspirations. They were looking strong, but there's a long way to go. And the, with the three rounds of fixtures, it's still in everyone's hands. Everyone's got the opportunity and if you think you deserve to win it, you have to go and win those games. Certainly the juggernaut rules. Exactly. So all we can do is just stay on. Yeah. All we can do is both of our clubs is just make sure we stay on their coattails and if they do slip up, we're ready to capitalize. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Moving on to the podcast Aby. You've had a lot pop at me a couple of times this season about us St. Climate's being involved in the only nil of the season so far. So you dragged us down to your level. It was guaranteed that I suppose, that was gonna happen. What I'll say, what I'll say is the St. Climates versus St. Paul's game was night and day compared to the St. Climates pre Adss game that was now, as I've said before, a few times the now game with CLS umbrellas was two tired teams that played two days before and it just wasn't a great game. I think that this was the complete opposite Z of the, I think it was one of the best now Nils I've ever seen in terms of chances, in terms of football played, in terms of dealing with the conditions.'cause it wasn't easy. I thought it was a really good game and I felt either side could have won. I also think neither side deserve to lose it. I don't know what your thoughts were. Yeah I echo that. It's probably the best nil I've ever seen if I'm, and that's not being biased or anything.'cause like you say, it had everything apart from goals. There was a bit of controversy, there was bad refereeing, which I'm sure we'll get into. There was some excellent phase of the play. We had horrendous weather. The Bulls game got postponed in it for 15 minutes or something, and we got the tail end of that and it was just horrendous. We had a sin bin. It was, yeah, chances. I said to the lads before the game, I said, look, we're playing. I class to be the best team in Jersey over the past 3, 4, 5 years. I've got so much respect for St. Clements. They're strong. They're, they're all mature and year in, year out you had a couple of little good additions each season or even if you lose a couple, you still seem really strong. So I said to them, look, this will be a benchmark for us just to see where we're at.'cause people still look at us as a young team. I said, we've got nothing to worry about going out on this pitch today. Let's go and make a statement. And yeah, the lads did it. I said to them at the end that it's a mark of how far we've come.'cause there was a lot of disappointed lads in that changing room after,'cause they thought we did enough just to nick it. If I'm being honest, I think maybe we had Joey miss a one-on-one. I think it was Patrick missed one. Do you remember where your keeper saved it and the rebound come to him? Yeah. And then he made a great double save. They were probably cl clear cut chances. I think you had one late on, didn't you? Where funds made a great save on the goal line. Yeah, I, again, we made a double save there as well. But yeah I think that looking at the game, I thought first half, I thought that climate's probably controlled the game in terms of possession without really threatening. I think we hit the bar from a set piece. Yeah. But apart from that, I don't think we worked to keep it enough. Second half I thought was from our perspective, was far too open. I thought we allowed, it became a bit like a basketball game at times. And certainly the chances were, the one in the first half that you mentioned was it Patrick had a shot? Pierce actually slips. Yeah. As he's going to say she in a relatively routine save, but he slips it comes back off him. The save on the Rebump was unbelievable. Yeah. He, it makes himself big just by himself. Possible. Yeah. Yeah. And a brilliant save. Second, I like to say Joey goes through a one-on-one and you always look, you think you keep on. Saves. You always think, shouldn't you? Yeah. You always think you should save, you should score one on one. But I dunno, is a I'll stick with the strikers union and say that it's not always easy when you're through and you've got loads of time to think about it. Yeah. And then we had one think Bruno has a shot really well saved by your keeper. It goes out, he retrieves the ball, crosses over, and Carl Heines is the header from six Yards. He's, it's slightly behind him. But he says himself, he, I think he was, look, he says himself, he thinks he should have scored, but from our perspective, we didn't create enough chances. And if you're only given your striker one chance in 90 minutes, you can't then complain when he's not scoring it. We were disappointed. Probably more so on how we played. And the relative lack of cutting edge in the final third probably was what disappointed us most about the game. But as I said I don't think, I think either side could have won it, but I don't think either side deserved to lose it. Just with the, everything that went into the game I'll definitely echo that. Like you say, either, either, either team could have won it, but neither deserved to lose it. It was, I dunno about you Anne, but did you find it went really quick?'cause it was just that end to end and everything going on it. Yeah, it was like you blinked and it was off time and then blinked. It was full time. It was crazy. Yeah. The second half was wild. It was just, you're just watching and it's just going end to end and yeah, and some really good football played at times as well from both teams. And that's the crazy thing. Most conditions we're making it sound like it was a very kick and rush game or, long balls and just turnovers here, there and everywhere. But there was good passage of play from both teams at points, there, there was, and we consciously went into the game with a plan to stop the ball going stand on. That's what we looked for, is as user try to build, shut off that passing lane to stand. Because from what we'd seen, we felt he dictates a lot of the tempo and stuff. And I think it was when we made a sh we made a change in our set up in the middle of the park after about half an hour. Yeah. It actually cost us it standing started to get on the ball more. And the game opened up and we, we made a change to try and get more players followed and be more of a threat. But it allowed Stan to come into the game as well. But yeah a really good game. Probably the result that, that. Chris and Sam Quail up at Wanderers we're looking for Yeah, they're definitely happy with that, aren't they? Yeah. A good game. Anyway we better stop talking. We better move on and talk about other games'cause I'm sure there's, they're not here just listening to us talk about a game that talk about something. We just spent 90 minutes watching. In Premiership two on Thursday evening, we had sports Club versus St. Lawrence. Now M two, I think it's I think it's AKIs and Rosell are the top pool and away a little bit, but Sports Club are there thereabouts. They've played a couple of games more, but they've got points on the board and another very impressive seven, they win over St. Lawrence. Although that was in the FA Bowl not the league, but I. A great result for them moving forward gets them into the next round of the cup. Yeah, actually do, I said we're flying by the seat of our pants. I've just read that again. It was seven N against Lawrence's over 30 fives. So there we go. That's what happens when we haven't prepared for it and actually had a look at the games we're gonna be covering. Again, you'd expect that you would expect Sports Club to win. But the a good performance from them. Yeah. Yeah. I mean we, we've been in football long enough, whether it play managing, coaching, any, anything, that you, there are games where you expect to win, but you've still gotta go out and do it. Yeah, I, yeah, that's a massive thing. And that will give them like more confidence as well to take that form into the league. Definitely. I think the big thing is always if you're playing against the team, you're expect it to beat the longer you keep them in the game. Yeah. The more confidence and the more sort of settled and comfortable they get. And I also think the fitter they get. I think because they start believing in something, don't they? And they're like, yeah, I think if they get to half an hour, they're like, hang on, we've done half an hour here and it's still nil, nil. They seem to get that extra five yards or, and I think as well, do you not find it, they start getting a bit of luck no one's begrudging them a luck, but like Paul's ricocheting and I dunno whether that's more the, the bigger team starts snatching at stuff and they get the well deserved rubber of the green. But yeah, you just seem to see everything just going for that team, the longer it goes on. Yeah. The keeper turns at a prime buffon, doesn't it? And then if you are lucky enough to get a goal, then you just see everything just sap out of them and it's almost moralizing for them, isn't it? So yeah, you want early goals and games like that. Yeah. That's it. Once you get a couple of goals up, it, it does take a you bit outta the legs, doesn't it? For Yeah, we had it against Madira the other week. They more than matched us for the first. Half an hour, and then we got the goals at the right time and that s sapped it all out of them. And then we went on and won, I think it was five or five or six. Nil. Five. Five, wasn't it? Yeah. You scored a couple minutes before halftime. The couple minutes after. Yeah. And then, and it just killed the game. You knew as soon as that second goal again, then it was over. But yeah, so a good result for sports club through to the next round of the cup. Looking back, we also had championship one last week. We had umbrella reserves, two St. Climates, reserves five. That was a good result for our reserves and they were looking strong. So I'd interesting to see how that season goes. Young Taylor, Roach, who's 17, I think scoring again, he's one. I I don't know. I've mentioned him before. He's a young kid who looks like he could, check on and go again. I keep saying this and I've said it, I've said it to his face. I would like to see him work a little bit harder. But then many a strikers had that thing said about them. He'll point to his goals. Yeah, and he's a top, he's a top scorer and team for the, and the reserves this season. But it's something I think he will develop as he gets older. If he does, then he'll be some player.'cause there's a certain player that we both know that wasn't the hardest of worker, but knew where the goal was. And that was a Mr. Craig Leach. Do you remember? Yeah. Yeah. But he was intelligent about his run, his movement. He runs, wasn't it? Intelligent or, yeah. That was intelligent. Yeah. Sorry Lee, that was you, not me. You've just messaged me saying, say this. Wanderers Reserves and Wander Reserve played at a three, three draw. Which sounds like a really entertaining game. Yeah, that one. Yeah. With a last minute equalizer by Dom Puo. For Saint One, the got down as the 92nd minute, which must have been a ER for Wanderers, but a great game. We then had on Tuesday night in the FA Bowl, we had St. Climates Reserves Force, St. John Reserves. Now that was at that game actually very much like what you've just described the climates weren't great first half. And then once they got that, once they got the goal and they scored it, it just s sat the legs out, them mean they, if I'm honest, I'd say four. No, maybe flattered in climates whilst also being comfortable, not really coming under pressure to conceding. I think in terms of how they played they scored a couple of goals late on the John's lads put a hell of a shift in and. I think their manager will be very happy with that. They put a lot of hard work in two late goals, like when they're tired, Taylor Roach with another one. And yeah, it's just a decent a decent game. With from the perspective of being a good battle I know that the ST client's LA were a bit disappointed with the performance, but do it the next round of the cup. Exactly. When it's cup games, you just wanna get in the next round. You don't care how you get there, whether it's one nil, 97th minute off someone's ass, or you, it's a resounding five, six nil comfortable win. You just want your name in the hat for the next round, don't you? Yeah, a hundred percent. A hundred percent. And then Thursday night we had st one reserve, or sorry, St. S Reserves three, one Reserve eight. St. Juan's reserves are strong this year. Yeah. And another dominant performance from them under the lights. Another two goals for Don P. Marco Ozaki making his comeback to football, that's managed to net one as well. That's one of those players, if you get him in the mood and you get him on the right days, unplayable. Yeah. But I think he had it, he had a little stint at St. Paul's, didn't he? Marco? Yeah, I think he did. I think he did. He did. I think you'd best describe him as a bit of an en enigma. Yeah. As a player. Like I say on his day can be unbelievable, but other days he's maybe not but a right good player when he is at it. Yeah. Looks a comfortable win, doesn't it? For someone's reserved. So I wonder how many first team has dropped down for that. Be curious to see that. Yeah. And how many appearances they've got. Yeah, definitely. But I to, I don't actually think there was, I don't think there was any certainly not regular. I'm sure I'm sure Mr. Jamie Bar will be on Twitter putting us right there. Yeah. You're staring at Robbie. You're staring it. Yeah. Why not? Come on. Gets a bit of interaction, doesn't it? Yeah. That was the last, the kinda local games this way or the last of the local games in open age group football. We then had over 30 fives Portuguese Club of Jersey beat Trinity. Five two St. Clemens, beats and Wanderers five now. So again, another dominant performance from St claimants and from Portuguese Club Marty Rollins, you never guess what he did. He didn't score. He got another hard trick. I think that's, oh, there we go. He's fourth of the season. So just normal service resumed, from him. So he is on about 700 league goals or 700 goals this season already? Yeah. I don't know, but he's certainly racking them up. Yeah, so the Trinity Portuguese Club game, I think I was trying to work out the order of the goals to see how competitive been, but I'm assuming that it, I don't believe that Trinity scored twice in the first minute. So looking at the results, it looks like when they've put it in on the match day app, they've maybe not put a time the next to the goals. Otherwise, what a start and what a collapse. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, we'll go with, it's a typo rather than a start and a collapse. I think just going back to Matt Rawlings getting another hat trick. Are we gonna, is this getting into the realms of where he gets nicknamed what? Rawlings. Harland maybe. Oh, that's getting edited out. Come leave that in. Come on. That's gotta stick. It'll be buzzing with that now. Oh God. Whenever we go to training. Okay. Come on. Yeah. God, that's bad. Oh, it's not. And the worst thing is that's not the worst dad joke you've made on this. Put these podcasts, I'll give you that one. Yeah. It's not the worst, but that's definitely, it's definitely up there with the best of them. Oh man. Come on. We're not here for my jokes anyway. Thank goodness. Thank goodness for that. Moving on to the Bulls. The Bulls had a fantastic one last week. The. Played at Home to Seven Oaks Town, they won one. Now a goal from Fraser Barlow. Great result. And I think we spoke last week or the week before we spoke about the bills in terms of the potential dangers of slipping down and not winning games and the teams below you catching up. And I think it's fair to say we probably did them a bit of an injustice.'Cause I had a conversation with Elliot not long after, and he was talking about some of the analysis that they've done. And I don't even think I've shared this with you. Obviously we're gonna get live reaction from you, but this is really eye opening. So what it, what they'd done was they'd taken, they've played 14 games, sorry, let me just rephrase that. They've played 10 fixtures this season against nine of the top 10 teams. Wow. Seven away from home and three at home. And they've gained 14 points from a possible 30, which is 47%. Now if you look at the rest of those teams in the top 10, I think Margate have played eight of the top 10 or played eight games against the top 10, the next close to six. So they've played far more games against the top 10 than anyone else. Margate have managed in their eight games against the top, they've managed 29% of the points. They've got seven from 24. So I think what that goes to show is actually the runner fixtures at those have had at the start of the season has been incredibly difficult. Yeah, and the number of points that they've picked up over that piece is actually very commendable. Now as they go, I think the next three games are against teams from around about where they are in the league are below. So I think they'll be looking to pick up points there. But I think it's worth highlighting that as much as you, you look at the table and you see them in the bottom half and you always look at, you think points in the board are the most important things. I think it's definitely worth recognizing the difficulty of that start. Yeah, I think I said, was it last week or the week before? They always seem to be playing a team in and around the top and that was just an off the cuff remark. I didn't realize it was actually true, if that makes sense. So yeah. Bit lucky there for me. But that's phenomenal and the away games. So yeah, it's all good. Saying points on the board are important, but if you can get the away fixtures out the way, before teams, properly hit their stride or just get them done so you can concentrate on your own games further on, further down the line, then that's superb. Yeah, and I think also the. Oh no, you've got three bridges at the top of the league. They've played six games against the top 10 and they've got 14 points out of 18. And the point, the only points have dropped win against the bills twice. So again, you have to take your hat off and yeah, they actually, Elliot and the lads have done a great job. The players have really put a shift in and hopefully they'll get the benefit and start to get the rewards of those efforts in the coming weeks. Yeah, you hope they do, you hope they see off, lesser opposition and they take. Massive confidence from, getting results against the bigger teams and just hope it carries on. So it must be difficult now for Elliot and the management team there, because, I think this year, if they're being honest, would've been, I think Elliot even mentioned it about consolidation. Just seeing where they could finish in the league, but make sure they stay in it. Without putting pressure on, and I'm sure no one's talking about title charges, but if they mirror them results against the lesser teams or them performances, that could put them right up in the mix. Yeah I think the run rate of points that they're on just now, if you extrapolate that out for the whole season, we must put them in with a shout at the playoffs. A hundred percent. It must do, which would be a phenomenal achievement yeah. To do that. We have to say a huge well done to them so far a great win. Again, difficult conditions against Seven Oaks. Yeah. We touched on it, didn't we? With the game being temporarily postponed because of the hail. Yeah. Yeah. Big Jesse's. Wow. Game carried on. Yeah. Yeah. Did you see the video of it? There was a video one I did spray off. We were lucky we didn't get the hail, did we? We just had the no lashings of rain, but yeah. So we can let them off, I think. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Moving on to Jersey Bills women they had a great win against medal sports. They won four two. That actually puts them on top of their league, but Brilliant. I'll go out and I limb here and say that's probably where they're gonna stay the rest of the season. Yeah. I think the, it's something we mentioned this when Libby was on, it's something they're gonna have to, that the fa have to look at. You can't just say you're a new team, you've gotta start at the bottom. Because I think you're gonna see the. Bull women running away with this league. But they can only beat who's in front of them and they've gotta win these games to get up to the next division. You just have to enjoy it.'cause it's not always gonna be like this. Yeah, definitely. The men's team, they had a bit of a meteoric rise, didn't they? It, I know COVID curtailed that a little bit. Yeah. It's about finding, yeah, finding the levels, isn't it? But like you said, or with you saying about the fa need to look at, it's, that's a difficult one. Where do you pick teams to win what leagues without seeing them, if that makes sense. It's, yeah, I mean it's like what in the professional game where there's been cons conversations about Rangers and Celtic dropping to the Premier League, and some people say they wouldn't even be championship. It's a difficult one to call there, isn't it? Yeah, I'm not gonna bite Robbie. I'm not gonna bite Damnit, but no, like the Bulls women, like you say, enjoy it, see how go along for the ride and see where they end up. And some of the girls who are a little bit older will be enjoying it because they're playing at a high level. Would they have enjoyed it that much if they were put in a, in say a couple of leagues above and end up getting relegated? So yeah, I think they've gotta start from where they started and just go with it. Yeah, and I think actually one of the big benefits of them is they can just get used to the volume of games.'cause they'll have never played this number of games in a season no before. So I suppose if you're playing against opposition that you should be able to beat relatively comfortably, then it gives you the chance to just get used to getting the sort of volume of minutes in your legs. Yeah, definitely. So yeah, we wish'em all the best. Yeah, it's great. So hopefully the top of the league, hopefully they stay there. I think that pretty much covers all the games in the last week. I will say again, we haven't planned this at all. It's really poor from us. So if we have missed any games of results, I do apologize. Because we, I did have a quick run through and as we've been going through this, I'm flicking between screens on on an iPad and on a laptop. So if I have missed anything, I do apologize. I did wanna have a chat Robbie about something that's comes up every so often not just in jazz football and football in general, and that's around the respect agenda. We talk about things. We've got, you mentioned the Lau, Saint Paul's game. There was a yellow card for descent. Having heard what we said, I think was probably the right decision. Yeah. That yellow card. It's worth highlighting'cause people listen to this, some people will be aware, others won't. There was a bit of an unsavory instant at the end of the game and I don't want to say too much about it because it is getting looked at by the Jersey fa and it's getting looked at by Saint Climates as a club. I think when we are talking about respect, I think it's really important to make absolutely clear that nothing condones nothing we will say about this condones. Anything that happened on Saturday nothing justifies anything that happened on Saturday. But I think there is a wider discussion to be had around how players, coaches, club officials and match officials and association officials, the people from New Jersey, fa, how they communicate with each other the level of respect that is shown versus what should be shown. And. It's, but I do want to reiterate that this is entirely separate to what happened on Saturday because there there's lines to, there's lines that can be crossed. And I think it's without what, without wanting to prejudge anything that's been investigated. I think the, based on what we hear lines were certainly crossed. I dunno how, what your thoughts are around, I have issues with the way some referees speak to players and club officials. I dunno what your thoughts are on that, Robbie. Yeah, I'll fully agree on that. Just wanna touch on a little bit what you're saying. We're talking about the St. Paul's p St. Clements game. That incident, the unsavory incident you talked about is not what we're discussing. We're discussing more in game and the broader outcome, aren't we? But for me, yeah. I don't like the way Sun Refs talk to me. I don't like the way they talk to the opposition bench, and certainly the players football's a heated game, an emotional game for everyone involved. Coaches, players, referees, linesmen, fans, even, so temp tempers are gonna run high, especially if mistakes are made by referees or linesmen. But that's, that makes part of the game, the controversy, the, a body decision here or there, but it's the respect factor. It's. How do I put it? It's gotta be the same for everyone. We touched on it a few podcasts ago about Charlie Brown being a good referee who would Yeah. Have a, he'd give as good as he got to players, and that was brilliant. Now, not everyone's got that same makeup. I understand that, but I don't think, I think refereeing in general, I've gotta be careful because I'm not trying to antagonize the JFA or the Referees Association'cause they do a thankless task and without them, our game would be ruined. So we wouldn't be having a game every week, but there's got to be something done. I think a few referees do speak down to players do speak down to coaches, and I think that adds fuel to already what is a very combustible situation. Yeah. I think with that Robbie as well, it's worth pointing out that referees get, I'd say the vast majority decisions, they get them right. They're going to make mistakes, but players make mistakes. And actually, I think the majority of people in the game accept that and understand that yes, it can be frustrating. Yes, you can disagree with things, but we're not really talking about decisions here. No, I probably personally, and the reason that we're raising this isn't just me and you, Robbie, talk about things that have annoyed us over a number of weeks or months or seasons. This is consistent feedback that yeah, players from all clubs, coaches from all clubs are all repeating. And if I'm honest, I've seen lit little appetite from the JFA to actually engage in this to improve it. This isn't one or two people sounding off. This is a huge number of people within the game talking about the same issue. And the big thing is to try and put it together concisely. What we're talking about is I. Referees expecting everybody else to accept things that they're unwilling to accept themselves. Yeah. And what I mean by that is they can say things to players and coaches that if it was said back to them, it's gonna result in either a yellow card for the coach or a sendman for the player. And the really frustrating thing is I, and look again, to be clear, players do talk out of turn. Players do say things that they shouldn't say. But when they do that, there is recourse for that. If they do that, they, they're sim Yeah. They're standing next to me for 10 minutes and we are letting them know that they've let everyone else down. Yeah. So they have a way to deal with that when it's the other way. There is no accountability whatsoever. And you probably don't want to mention this, Robbie, from Saturday. You called out at one point, there was a challenge and the referee, Petes whistle up to his lips. It didn't blow. And I think you called out, we're just about to blow your whistle, what's going on? And yeah, he turned around and said he was turned and said, it's called giving myself time to think you should try it. Something. Now I actually don't mind that as a comment. Yeah. Because it, it's probably accurate. Do you know what he, was it accurate? He was giving himself type to think he decided not to do it. That's fine. But see if a player said that back, that's every possibility that at least getting spoken to yeah. About it. But actually probably getting bin. Yeah. Another thing that happened on Saturday again, was one of our players, St. Clemens player who'd already been booked and rightly had been booked. The refer, he was talking to me, his finger in his face. Aggressively pointing at him, shouting at him. Yeah. And that is just unacceptable. Yeah. That is, there is no excuse for that. And you do that in the street, somebody's gonna pull your finger off. Yeah. But he knew he was, he knew the player was on a yellow card, knew he couldn't react. There's, there is no excuse for that. No, not at all. Like you say, if that's the other way round, that lad's getting sent off straight away. Yeah. So that just adds fuel to the fire again. So that player's gonna be wound up. So he did well to, not get a second yellow and be sent off, to be honest. Yeah. Yeah, we took him off quite soon after, to be fair, just in case. But it's not just that game. There's other games this season where I've seen it, where I look I get from a referee's perspective, it's probably quite annoying when people calling for things, claiming for things, shouting all that, that goes on. And yet, I don't know the. I always come back to the thing, they have got tools at their disposal that they can deal with it. Yeah, I mean we had Mark Freeman, one of our coaches got yellow card up at Ken earlier this season. Because he sh he shouted for some, he actually shouted that it was a head injury. And the linesman who stood next to us, who didn't do anything, made no attempt to inform the, he was a head injury. The linesman complained because he shouted and he shouted too loud in his ear. So that's, again, that's just, but there's no comeback. You can't appeal yellow cards. There's no, it's just, but those are the things. And what happens is I do think there are some referees deliberately try and wind certain people up. They try and antagonize them because they want to get a reaction. Yeah. The problem is you can't control what that reaction's gonna be. You have no influence. You also don't know what somebody else is dealing with outside the football. You know what their head space is like. So that reaction could be anything. And I feel there's a lot of work to be done on respect in general, and look, players and coaches can be and have to be better, but it's a two way street and it's never, ever going to get better while it's seen as one way. No, definitely not. Personally, I've tried really hard this season'cause yeah, I'm getting skint with all the fines I'm, I've been getting into the last couple of years. But I made a conscious effort this season not to get involved with referees. But yeah, it's very difficult. Like I say, they've got tools at their disposal that they can either diffuse the situation or antagonize it, and they shouldn't, it shouldn't be used for antagon. It should be diffusing every situation possible. It's a minefield. I've said that. A few times now, and it's boring me saying it, but it really is. It's you don't know where you stand. You don't know what sort of attitude the rests gonna be in. And you touch on there about players being in the right head space or they might have personal stuff going on. We accept the referees might have stuff going on as well. Yeah. So don't antagonize it. Try and referee the game. If you've got stuff going on, just concentrate on the game and don't wind players up. Give short, concise answers if you ask to explain a decision or, and don't get involved. They're meant to be at a higher level than us if they're, if that makes sense.'cause they're the, they're overseeing the game. They're making the rules. They're, keeping us in check. Don't come down to our level and start arguing or start trying to wind players up. Yeah. That's a big thing. Yeah. I think as a referee you set the standards as what's acceptable. Hundred percent. You set the level as to what's okay. And if you are. Conducting yourself in a manner that doesn't meet the standard that you said acceptable. You just, there's only one way that, only one reaction you're gonna get. But on a positive side, I'm gonna highlight Adrian Card. Who was one of the linesmen, or one of the assistants at our game. He turned up, must been 45 minutes before the game. He was very, he was the first one there. He come on to pitch, Hey, come on. We were, I think I was we'd just finished sorting the goals out. Yeah. So it was maybe an hour, actually, probably an hour before well be, well before the rest of his team came up, shook hands, had the chat. Spoke to other coaches, spoke to players, and I thought that's brilliant asking some of the guys, what they're doing for Halloween, they going out. Just conversations. Yeah. But do you know what, it's a bit more difficult now use a an assistant, not the FE, but it's a bit more difficult to scream at somebody when you've just been having a conversation about what the kids were and what fancy dress your kids. Putting on for Halloween. It's that interaction. It's just management. Now the other side of that coin I've seen in other games this season, referees turn up 20 minutes before kickoff. They turn up, get changed, come out, check the nets, and they delete, really warm up, but the half as it. And it's just, it's, again, I don't think it's good enough. And I still want to kind of caveat this by saying the players and ev all the people on the other side and actually not the other side because I don't wanna make it them v us, but we all have a responsibility. Yeah. In terms of respect, we see quite a lot of respect between, generally speaking, a lot of respect between technical areas, during games, it can get fiery, it can get competitive. But I think what you always see is when the full-time whistle goes, shake hands, sit down, have a drink afterwards. There's no issues, but I really do think there's a lot of work to be done on the respect side from the perspective of how match officials talk to people. And like I said, it's been raised it's been raised with the GFA and there's been very little appetite to, to engage or deal with it. Yeah, like I said, with the referees, we need the referees and again, we need more referees, if anything. So I don't want anyone listening here who's thinking about being a ref and thinking, whoa, I don't wanna come into any of this. Please do get into it. But just treat everyone with respect, because if you treat us good we'll, like you say, it's almost impossible to be angry or to moan or to shout abuse or anything. Talking about the lino, I thought he was really good. He's done a few of our games this season and he's getting better with every game. Yes. So I'm really pleased. And like you say, the nice little touch he got there early. You felt like he was ready, he was preparing correctly for it. He knew the magnitude of the game. He knew, it's too fiery teams. It's got a chance to go off, off. Let's be honest, our benches aren't exactly quiet thing as are they. So sign retiring. She to be fair though, at halftime with the ref, the record was Gareth on Saturday. There was a few words from a couple players at half time, and Gareth actually dealt with it really well. Which is again, highlights the fact it can be done. There was a couple of things were unhappy. The players were. It was things that they were probably right to be unhappy with. But it's that thing you say it's happened now. You can't change it. You can't go back. The players were expressing that they were unhappy and Gareth actually engaged with it and dealt with it really well. It's just, it needs to be like that all the time because that can't be the exception. That's gotta be the rule, isn't it? Yeah. So I think, as I say, I think, and I think we'd certainly be happy there, there's no interaction away from match day with referees. We had Harry Walker on the pod a few weeks ago. But other than that, you never see, you never really see referees. You never see'em. And I think the other thing is if you do interact them away from games, it's really, dangerous isn't the right word. You should never judge somebody's personality by how they are on a football pitch or in a technical era. Yeah. Be that player, a coach, or a refer. Definitely I'm completely different away from the pitch than what I am. Yeah. When it's back to be you are, I used to get White Line Fury as a player. I used to cross that white line and my personality would completely change. Yeah. It's probably less so now as a coach. Yeah. I'm the same. I, but people are different. I'm sure it's the same with referees. I don't know if you remember we had, Dave Brunon was a senior referee over here for, and to be honest, he was a nightmare. Very good referee in terms of decisions. A nightmare. COA for football. And I don't know, I can only speak how I used to bump into him quite regularly'cause he'd, he used to have, and his, him and his wife used to go for a used to walk round where I used to live. And I used to see them when I was out walking the dog. And we'd have a chat. Really nice guy, really friendly, completely different to what he's like on the pitch. And again, I think if there's more interaction between. Match officials and players and coaches, you, you start to, to bridge that gap and you start to see them as something other than just a match official or other than a football player. I knew Luke, we talk Luke Watson. Yeah. Luke Watson is just with the fiercest competitor. One of the most aggressive players I've ever seen come across Very good player away from football. He's one of the quietest people you've ever likely to meet. Really quiet, really friendly, just totally different to what in the pitch. You're ruining his street credit, by the way. Yeah, no I just think there, I think there's I go back to there's lot to be done, I think. And if they do think that they're gonna improve respect in the game for officials whilst treating it as a one-way street, it's never gonna work. It's never gonna improve. And what you're actually gonna do is you're gonna drive people away from the game. Yeah. And that's the fine balancing act. We don't wanna drive people away from the game. We don't wanna drive referees away from the game, certainly, because like I say, we need them, we need more. Yeah. But there's, it's such a fine line, isn't it? Yeah, it's a balanced act. It's, yeah, they've got their work cut out. All we can do is coaches and players is try and get it into ourselves, into our players that we need to be better, but then we've gotta get some help from the refs as well. Yeah. So I, I think hope that hasn't sounded like we're ranting or moaning or we'll have a listen back. And hopefully it's come across in a manner I'd expected. Like I say, we had to make that as constructive as possible, haven't we? And that's what it's, it is meant to be constructive. It's not meant to dig anyone out or anything like that.'cause I do appreciate that if somebody, if you've got somebody screaming at you for 20 minutes, ev every couple of minutes or 20 minutes, at some point you might want to shout someone back or speak to them, but you, yeah, you kinda lose that moral high ground, don't you? So Yeah. Yeah. But anyway we've talked about this for too much. I think it's time to move on. Excellent. Have a think. Any other, think about, we wanna talk about next. I've got exactly what we're talking about for weeks now. You've put different guests, myself included, right on the spot about meti fi firesides. So it's now my turn, Mr. Shepherd, to ask you to name your Meti Fireside please. So I've only been involved in Jersey football for the last 10 years, so my choices are going to be relatively recent. In terms of goalkeeper, I think it's an obvious one. I've mentioned them multiple times over the last 10 episodes. So much so that Jack Canon dug me out for it last week. Although I did edit it out so nobody heard them. The goalkeeper for me is, goalkeeper for me is doing Vander fleet. Yeah, he good choice. He's just everything you want from a goalkeeper, dominates his box, communicates really well, really confident with the ball at his feet. Great short stopper. He just tick every box and you watch him. Big games, he makes big save repeatedly. And it happens too often for it to be luck. So I'm, I'm going with lifting goals center back. For me, there's the, there's only one option. And that's true Andre. Having watched him play, having coached him, having been involved again, just a top player and a great guy as well. And that's, there's, there's a few notable mentions in there. Could also go, you could be looking at Luke Campbell, James Kerry even Bill backs Jay Giles some real class players. But for h Stuart for some day of sort of 5 9, 5 10, his ability to win the ball on the air was unreal. Yeah. His timing good with both feet. Watching him ping 40 yard diags, his left foot was. Not many center ballots can do that. Just a, a great player. Yeah, he was brilliant. I was lucky enough to play with him for quite a few seasons and in the warmups he'd just be using his weaker foot, just getting that, just getting it used to it. Just getting it ready for the game and yeah just a all round good lad. Really. Yeah. Some actually said to me and I think that was only half tongue and cheek, they said he didn't lose a header for 10 years. Now when you watch him, when you watch his timing you can kinda see the argument. So I, I think midfield wise Midfield's a really tough one.'Cause I've got three players for two places. And whichever one misses out as a top player. So the first one I'm picking is Luke Watson. Like so many other people have picked he's a player with. Who'd had somebody who'd had a bit more luck if the timing had been different and I'd had the opportunity. I think he's someone that should have made a living out the, again, yeah, definitely fully agree with that about Ronald all day. Very good on the ball, good in the air. Aggressive, good in the tackle. Good passer makes right, makes the right decision most of the time. And has an eye for goal as well. So I think it's a no brainer to to get him in. I'm gonna talk about the one that's probably gonna miss out. And it's mad, but the one that I probably would miss out of the three would be Jack Boyle. And you look at what he's done in football and jersey when we had bits of balls, he was like, he was he scored big goals and big games. Yeah. And was a really important player. Just tease out, because I'm going to go I talked about this last week when Jack Cannon was on car's, probably the best all round footballer in terms of his effect on the game that I've seen in Jersey. And I think that's emphasized by the fact he's now a full-time professional footballer and has been for getting on for the best part of a decade. Technique with ball his feet. Unbelievable. I think we talk about, we've mentioned a number of times about whether you would, whether your five or sighting you pick, would there be any good at fives? This guy stands head and shoulders above a lot. But yeah, just his, he's his football intelligence very similar to Luc and Jack's there as well with it. But his ability to pick up the right space, be in, just be in the right place every time. Makes'em to pick. So it's really tough. Yeah, I can, that's a nice mid, that's a nice midfield. Nice midfield that So what in what technically you're saying is Luke's in, so we get him on the podcast and Jack Bull has just rejected us. Yeah no, absolutely. Ab absolutely not. Absolutely not. I can have I should have just done what Mark Lowe did and picked six. Yeah get in as well. And your front man. Front man. I'm gonna go with Lauren Beckley. And it was a, again, it was a tough one because a lot of people have gone with Carl Hos. And I can understand that. So I think Gordon Milone is just the, when he's on his game, when he's at it, he's absolutely unplayable. You watch him ra ragdoll and center backs, he's so aggressive, so physical, quick, strong, good fantasy. He does a lot. I would say my one criticism is sometimes he's not. But. You've seen him against Guernsey when it really matters and you see how much it means to him, and I probably, he probably just edges it. Another one that would be there and thereabouts because of what he's done in tis would be Craig Russell. What's Rusty? Just again, terrorize them without necessarily get getting the goals. I he didn't score enough goals in IES for what he played, but yeah, he terrorized them. He was brilliant for St. Paul's, wasn't he Rusty? I loved it when I was playing and he was up front, I knew I could just whip a ball in and he'd be, he'd get something on the end of it. He was good. He had a good leap. He was big, strong lad, but he could finish with his feet neatly as well. It wasn't just all brute strength and everything. He was a great player. Yeah. Yeah. So I think that's a strong team. There's some definitely notable mentions for players that haven't made it. But yeah, I think. I'd be quite happy with that, that five side team. Yeah, definitely. That's a very strong team, Andy. That's really good mate. I'm just gonna move on now and we'll quickly just run through the games on this weekend. The reason. Quickly as we're, as much as we've not planned anything, we've also had horrendous technical difficulties while I'm being recording this and we've feels like we've been here a bit. Four hours. So I was gonna say it's three o'clock in the morning now. Saturday morning. Yeah. We're still trying to record. We're now 20 pint steep. Yeah. Yeah. And for once issues have been at my end, not yours. Yeah, so and we've had issues with, yeah, we've had that, we've had issues with your 1995 dial internet connection normally, but I put a couple of quid in the meter, so that's why we should have been good this time. Yeah, I thought the term buffering had been. To the past until we've looked at Robbie's internet. But looking forward to this weekend you alluded that before Robbie use you guys suppose a away to St. Gr adss and yeah the Jersey FA Cup. A tough time. Definitely. Yeah, we're looking forward to it. The lads are all buzzing, we've been on a good run of performances and results. So yeah. Let's see if we can take it into tomorrow's game and the weather holds off'cause we've just had a big downpour, so that didn't look too clever. But St. Lads pitch should be nice. A little bit of water on it, so looking forward to it. Yep. So hopefully Good. That's a one 30 kickoff at Simple Ads. Again, would you believe it? I'm still having more connection problems with a number of things. I can't actually see the fixtures. I know that the Jersey bills are the way to Hasek, I think they're called. So they in the top five or they a little bit lower down now? They're on the, there are a couple places above them. There are a couple of points better off, but the bills have played two games less. Oh, okay. Again I'd imagine without knowing anything about them, I think it's worth remembering that some good teams all through that league it's worth remembering that they'll be a, a tough team to play against. But I do think that the bulls will fancy themselves Yeah. And to go and get something from that games. Fingers crossed for them, it's a another away game. Then looking the Jezebels women are playing on Sunday against Harley Town. That's a Sunday game. So again, that'll be one that they've gotta fan themselves to win given that the form that they're in, given what was said about the league that they're in. So hopefully they can keep that good run going if we move back to local football. And I'm desperately trying to fill time here as I'm waiting for a screen to change. I do apologize for this'cause it's a bit of a nightmare of a pod. So we've got the Dragos, the jersey at home to St. Lawrence up at Kenner. We've got Sports Club versus Trinity, and we've got St. John's versus Sport Mackeys in prem two. So some pretty. Good and interesting games there. We'll see what conditions in the weather's'cause I think that will play a big part. Looking into championship one, we have midweek, we've got groove reserves versus one reserves in the two. The two Z Memorial trophy. And that's up at championship two. Just see if there's any fixtures there. Yep. We've got Groove Sea versus St. John Reserves. We've got one Sea versus Trinity Reserves and we've got Trinity over 35 versus Rose reserves in the Air Bowl. So again the Trinity two over 30 fives versus rose s will be a good game.'cause I think it, depending on who Trinity take it out I think that could be a good game to watch. So again, some decent games there and some opportunities, especially since the bulls in a way, some opportunities to watch some local football. We've also got Roselle women versus sports Club women and St. Peter Women versus Jersey Wanderers Women on Sunday. So again, hopefully as we've said for them, those get, I think for that league this season solid, like getting the games played, keeping the players engaged and keeping'em involved. And then the last games in the over 30 fives division, we've got Roses, 30 fives versus groove over 30, fives and wonders, over 30 fives versus St. Lawrence. So get loads of games when there's only your game in the top league, Robbie. Yeah. The, with the, the top teams. The top league teams. Yeah. Yeah. We've got the, it's the first week off in a while. But then there's some very intriguing games throughout the other divisions as well. Hopefully we can see some good football, loads of goals, exciting games, really what we've seen all season. Hopefully that continues. And we see that going forward. But I think we're going to leave it at that. Robbie. I think we're gonna have to finally just hopefully buy the bullet. Hopeful. Yeah. Hopefully when we finish this, there'll be something cobbled together that resembles a podcast. I think there's a lesson here for us around preparation. This will be the first and the last time we fly by the seat of our pants, trying to do a podcast'cause it's been very stressful. I think we've done all right. To be fair, Andy, it's been a bit, a little bit more organic, shall we say. It's been the internet connections that let us down more. I think so, yeah. We can't legislate for that being tough, but hopefully once it's cobbled together, it sounds possible. But Robbie, I. I appreciate your time. I know it's, as I said, it's a Friday evening after a long, hectic week at work. So thanks very much for taking the time. Ah. All the best over the weekend. I hope it's a good game with loads of goals. And just just leaves me to say thank you very much to everyone for listening. Please keep the feedback coming in. We're always keen to hear what you like, what you don't like. Yeah. I'd be very keen to hear from people. On this what we spoke about on the respect agenda but constructively.'cause I think that's the important thing. Yeah. We don't want name calling or, calling out referees that they might had a disagreement with. We want it to be constructive and if referees want to get involved as well, we're more welcome than that. Yeah. I do know anecdotal. We hear from a lot of people within the game that, that kind of echo our our sort of thoughts on there, but I'm really keen to hear what other people think. Are we miles off it? Are we, is there stuff that can be done to improve it? But moving on. Thank you very much to everyone for listening. We will get the next week's podcast be out on time we'll be recording again very soon, Robbie, but thank you very much. Cheers Andy. Have a good weekend mate. You too mate. Thank you.
